Yeah, I would leave him out there for 5 at least. This one is done. Don't even bother using the pen. If he gives up 12 earnies, so what.

Chapman should close plain and simple. Marshall and Ondrusek would be in their familiar roles. Adam Wainwright spent his rookie season as the Cardinal's closer; they win the world series and the next 4 seasons Wainwright's in the running for Cy Young.

Hell NO! Leake needs to finish 6 innings, I don't care if he throws his elbow out.
Re: Reds vs. Nationals Friday 5/11
Mike Leake doesn't even know it's a strikeout LOL
Re: Reds vs. Nationals Friday 5/11
It looked like none of our guys knew how many outs there were.
Re: Reds vs. Nationals Friday 5/11

Re: Reds vs. Nationals Friday 5/11

I remember hearing that the Reds hit much better vs. LHP than RHP. What is going on with Gio then?
Re: Reds vs. Nationals Friday 5/11
Also, the Reds only 2 baserunners are lefties.
Re: Reds vs. Nationals Friday 5/11
This team is mentally out of it.
I suspect Dusty will name Hanigan the permanent starter tomorrow.
