Re: The 2010 Central Division Champions...
I was 3 when the Reds won in '75. From that moment on, I have been a Reds fan, despite living in Kansas for the last 30+ years.
My oldest son is 4, and we get to share this. I can't describe how happy that makes me.
Shock the world, boys.

Welcome back Reds. I missed you.

Anyone else disappointed FSN took off the coverage...I could watch that for another 24 hours.
Re: The 2010 Central Division Champions...
I start 2nd shift thursday...just in time for the Reds first playoff game in 15 years. BAH!
I might have to wear my shooting ear muffs and some kind of blinders until I can reach my DVR.

Seriously, could anyone have drew it up any better? Edinson Volquez pitches a great game. Joey Votto had a big hit in the sixth inning. Scott Rolen followed with one of the best atbats of the season to draw a walk. Drew Stubbs made an epic catch to rob Carlos Lee of a 2-run HR. Aroldis Chapman threw a dominant 1-2-3 inning and picked up the win, and Jay Bruce, the budding superstart hit the walk-off HR to clinch the 2010 NL Central. Amazing!

I am so happy to be here!

FYI Jay Bruce is set to be interviewed on the midnight Baseball tonight.
Re: The 2010 Central Division Champions...
I don't know about you guys, but with all the other awesome stuff that went on tonight, seeing Eric Davis celebrating in the clubhouse with the current team just seemed fitting. That right there made me think that maybe, just maybe this could be our year (and hopefully every year after this).

At the very least we won't see the Reds on those longest losing season or playoff drought list.I do get the feeling we're back for good though.:beerme:
