Bruce, and then the no-hit righties due this inning.

Did anyone else catch that stat earlier, that Choo's current margin between BA vs Righties and BA vs Lefties is the widest of any major leaguer since 1974, and the 3rd largest of all-time? Considering how he played the first three or so weeks of the season, that stat is hard to believe.

Well, I'll consider it a success of the Reds can avoid a complete game shut out by Perez.

It really makes no sense for him to be batting near the top of the order against lefties at this point.
Frazier singles

Heisey, Cozart, Frazier and Stubbs. Are they not all one in the same? I think they have guys in AA that are like that but even worse (Brodie Greene, Ryan Hedley LeMarre, Devin Lohman) Someone quickly rethink your plan in drafting and developing hitters please.

Interesting because he hasn't exactly been killing the righties lately either.

Re: Friday June 28, 2013 Reds @ Texas 8:05 PM Eastern
Heisey grounds into a 5-4-3 DP. 3-0 Rangers mid 5th
Re: Friday June 28, 2013 Reds @ Texas 8:05 PM Eastern

Yes, I would drop Choo way down against lefties. I don't care if it hurts his ego like Dusty is afraid it might do. Dusty used to bench Bruce against lefties and Bruce has worked hard to improve and now one of the best against lefties. It might do Choo some good and take a little pressure off of him.
