Ha ha ha! That was Richard Hand! It is hard to believe the guy has disappeared for ten years. For a several months there, he kept bouncing back time and again despite the emotional tamtrums. Then, he disappeared for good.

I remember the name, probably because it is somewhat unusual.
I perused that board for a while, then I stated posting when I got a PC, I think November 1999.
I remember Richard Hand calling all pitcher injuries shoulder injuries, no matter what the injury. I mentioned it and he kicked me off his Little red Wagon newsletter... I think it was here I read that he was mentioned by Marty on a broadcast once.

OahuRed at your service. Before I went nuts. ;)
Re: Who was there on cincy.com back in late 1990s?
I remember almost ALL of you, and YES rem, I remember har ecou well! And I remember Nuxie who used to flood redliner's chat board site almost every evening! GOOD times! Good times!:)

North Dakota Red that was me. Good times!

I was on there. Found that board a little while before all the Griffey trade rumors. It was fun for awhile but went downhill quickly.
Re: Who was there on cincy.com back in late 1990s?
Even before the Griffey rumors, there were some trolls. Does anyone remember Manny about the time the Reds played the Indians in interleague play? He was booted but came back as Manny's Momma. He was a pain but was entertaining. I suspected he may have been Nux's first incarnation.

Does anyone remember Ol' Pappy?
Re: Who was there on cincy.com back in late 1990s?
I was there, right in the middle of it all. A guy named Brian Butts from Cincy.com was the "supposed" moderator of the forum. I sent him a sarcastic email one time telling him he was doing one heck of a job overseeing the forum.

Heavens yes. What an idiot.
Was it you or rem that posted that rather humorous (and sexual) pic, made up of text letters, in response to kappaloosa? I know it really set her off! LOL

Richard's Reply:
I got my feelings hurt.
Seriously though, that was the way he responded in a lot of his posts. Did he even make the trek over to Redszone?

Yeah, he was here for a while. More than once, I think.
