Both IU and Purdue spent roughly $300,000 and Oregon spent $600,000! I can only imagine what they spend in Columbus.
The story documents DiNardo spending $11,000 to fly one kid (who IU did not sign) from Louisiana to Bloomington on a university plane? Are you kidding me?
I tell you, D1 football and basketball has lost its way. Either create a sports major and pay the kids under a salary cap or set a limit like $250,000/year on how much any school can spend on recruiting or something. This is getting out of control!
