He says Valaika should be back on Thursday, the 18th, in the DH role. Daryl Thompson is about ready to throw from the mound. It shouldn't be much later than Valaika for his return.

Is Sutton a real prospect?
If he's going to remain in Louisville, I'd like to see Stubbs get some reps in the leadoff spot, as I'd imagine that's the role envisioned for him in Cincinnati. Normally it wouldn't be an issue, but I do recall him having problems with hitting out of that spot earlier in his minor league career. I'd rather see him work out those kinks, demons, or whatever you want to call them before the big league nerves set in.
Sutton is a good queston. His glove is too shaky for a MI guy and his power may not be good enough for third.
Stubbs has been in the leadoff spot. He didn't do too well. I think he should get another shot at it.
