You shouldn't have turned it on in the 1st place Mr. Jinxypants!
Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013 (Part 3)
Today is an interesting one. The Reds have played one more than the three other teams they are competing with. Today it evens out with the Reds on the sidelines, sleeping off yesterday's marathon/flight.
The Padres did their job in Pittsburgh, can't expect a sweep, not surprised Pirates are well ahead today. Forget that one.
The Cards face Roy Oswalt for the Rockies. Maybe Roy can pitch one more tough ballgame. That one starts in about 45 minutes.
Finally, Miami is in DC for four. Hope the Marlins can win a couple. Marlins pitcher Alvarez pitched well last time at Citifield and his ERA for the year is below 4. He faces Gio Gonzalez.
Let's go Rockies/Marlins. At least one of you need to win today, preferably both.

I just watched that 5 times, and it's better each time. Proof that the Reds aren't the only idiot baserunners out there.
Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013 (Part 3)
Rockies go up 4-0 on a Tulo HR.
Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013 (Part 3)
4-0 Rox in the 3rd.
Tulo two run Jack.
Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013 (Part 3)
Sounds like Wacha's getting a tough intro to pitching at Coors against the Rockies.

Yes...his curveball is strangely flat.

10 hits in 3 innings. Really could be worse score wise. But 87 year old Roy Oswalt is pitching for the Rox, so this game is far from over.
Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013 (Part 3)
Oswalt starts the 4th with 2 walks...but Beltran has not had a hit since the year of the blue snow.

Nice job with the reverse jinx. Now tell me the Cards can't lose this one.
