Leake has a career 5.64 against the Dodgers in 3 starts (4 appearances total).
Capuano's career numbers against the Reds don't mean much considering we were facing him regularly as a Brewer far back as 2005, but of course in his last start against us he went 6.2 innings and allowed just 3 hits with 0 walks and 4 K's. I think we owe Mr. Capuano a receipt.
This was THE rivalry back in the BRM days. There's no one I'd rather beat than a first place Dodgers team.

Quote:
“He hit my back leg and when he hit my leg, it pulled my leg all the way back and hyperextended it, that’s what they said,” Phillips said on Friday. “He didn’t really hit me good or anything like that, he just hit my back leg. I still feel it, it’s like knot in my quad right now. As long as I keep moving, it’ll loosen up.”
Hopefully the Reds get off to a faster start tonight than the game thread has.
Cozart didn't look so off-balance when he threw Puig's grounder to first. Sure looked very off balance when the ball landed and Puig was safe though.
Ugliest slide: Puig or Votto?
Sheesh. And thanks to letting Puig on, we're quickly down 2-0 rather than just giving up the solo to Ramirez.
Mike Leake sure has reverted to giving up too many gopher balls.
What's the over/under on the number of outs Baker gives up tonight?
Three? Four?
