It's fine, good at bat, but sorry if I'm not overjoyed.
Way to downplay a productive AB resulting in an RBI. Lol
This forum will argue anything.

You do realize one of those out machines won the game last night?

I do. But he is what he is otherwise.

They were ripping during the AB and that AB resulted in an RBI

It's better than the alternative, but not exactly what you're looking for there after giving up one out already for a run.
If you want this team to be great and contend like we all thought they would, you have to keep the wheels moving in the 8th inning after starting bases loaded with no outs. You're not looking to give up multiple outs.

Mesoraco flies out to right
Re: Reds vs. Rangers, 06/30/2013
dang -- thought that one had a chance to get down
Re: Reds vs. Rangers, 06/30/2013
Is Lutz still on the team? I like his one swing potential more than Robinson's.

See, I think you are arguing anything. You are settling for a nice, but losing, at bat.
Reds were down two runs. Eighth inning. Second and third.
The need was for a hit. A hit is two runs. It ties the game.
The Rangers have a good closer. You might not get to him. Heisey had the chance and against a lefty pitcher.
So, ok, give him some credit. Chris did something positive, but it wasn't quite enough.
