Re: Your own 2012 NFL Mock Drafts
I will be surprised (but not shocked) if Jags took Floyd at 7. Too many little character concerns. Everyone knows they should seek a trade-down, and the GM has talked that up, but he has a tendency to lock in on a guy, and take him no matter what.
I think Cox and Ingram fit his pattern.
Best situation is for Tannehill to be there at 7 with Dolphins salivating at 8. Hopefully someone like Cleveland or KC or Buffalo wants to grab him from Miami.
Re: Your own 2012 NFL Mock Drafts
You have Fleener almost in the 3rd round.

I would be too a bit, if I were them I would certainly take a strong look at Cox he's a beast IMO. But I don't see them being able to move out of that spot and I think they know they need to secure a good WR if they have any hope of trying to get anything out of Gabbert (I think they are screwed on that though). There is a chance Seattle or KC could move up for Tannehill but I don't think they have the wuevos to take that gamble.
For the record I hope he takes Ingram, I think that helps make for a better chance for the Bengals to get what they need/want.

I know, I felt uneasy about that because I can't see him falling quite that far. I'm sure someone will forego need for him I just couldn't find the right fit for him, there was always someone as good or better with a bigger need.

NO way Fleener falls past the Colts second round pick.

I had him there originally, but I personally think they have bigger needs and I think Hill has better value. But I can definitely see the Colts taking him, just what I would do with how things unfolded for them. Chances are Hill won't be there anyway, it only takes 1 pick to screw up the rest of them.
Re: Your own 2012 NFL Mock Drafts
I'd prefer to see Tampa trade down. The draft is devoid of true "impact" players on defense, and the offensive side is really limited to the top two QBs.
Claiborne is a good corner, but he isn't a lock-down guy -- and #5 overall is a lot of draft value for a guy who won't shut down half the field.

The Colts have needs all over the field. Other than QB Punter and Kicker the
Colts need talent everywhere.

I would trade down if I were them as well but I don't believe the draft is devoid of impact players on the defense. I think Cox & Kuechly will for sure be and I also like Barron alot as well just might be a smidge less talented than those 2. But I think all 3 can/will have a great impact on their teams.
Re: Your own 2012 NFL Mock Drafts
Worthy, while I hate him, is a game-changer and would be a perfect fit in the 3-4...
And don't forget to follow Jim Irsay on twitter and submit your mock draft... If by some miracle you drill the first round, it's worth a BMW.

They all have the potential to be good players, but I don't think any of them profile as the kind of elite, franchise-type players you'd expect/hope to get with a Top-5 pick.
