Re: Things people say that irritate you
Actually, I had a conversation with my cousin this weekend, he of deep Price Hill lineage and he assured me it's "Bang Gols".

Not sure if they would have beaten the Chargers this past weekend. Perhaps in a different way?

Big game coming up against the Stillers. Hopefully the min will be able to maintain that winning kimistry. :beerme:

Although she may deny it if you ask her, Susanna Hoffs and I have a playdate scheduled on Tralfamadore.

No, no, no. I say Bing-els and Steel-ers. Just for the record, here in Kentucky I am quite certain there is no diff'rence between kim-is-tree and kem-is-tree (if there is I can't hear it, and if there is a kem-es-tree I was unaware).
Seriously, if I was to look it up (and I might), is it Bing-els, Bang-els or Ben-gels?

Chem... rhymes with "I need to hem my slacks," or "What a gross piece of Phlegm little Johnny coughed up this morning."
As opposed to Kim, which rhymes with Tim, Slim, Jim, etc. :beerme:
The Bengals are the Bengals. Not the Bingles, or the Bangles. Although during the 90s I would have preferred that the Bengals were the Bangles.
It's all relative though, once Rich Gannon starts talking about Andy Dalton and the Bengals OWWW-fence.

If it's 1980's Susanna Hoffs, I'm on board.
2012 Susanna Hoffs?
No deal.
:D

Hisself. It is not one that bothered me in the past, but my lovely wife hates it. She points it out everytime someone says it, now it bothers the dickens out of me.
Re: Things people say that irritate you
Has anyone here already posted about the non-word "irregardless"? That one annoys me a great deal.
Re: Things people say that irritate you
"Happy New Years".
It's "Happy New Year" unless you're wishing me happiness many years in advance.
