Despite being 0-2, Slowey has pitched pretty well. Hopefully our guys don't take him lightly.

Went to get some food and completely missed the top half

Choo with a leadoff triple!

Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
How can you not love Choo.

Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Now THAT'S what we pay Votto to do.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Sac fly by Votto. There's your "production" folks. Just remember, 4 pitches...only 1 he even had a chance to do anything with. Most hitters have multiple opportunities in each AB...Joey gets 1 each ab...MAYBE.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Marty should be happy. Votto swung at a 3-0 pitch to hit that sac fly.

Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
5 up, 5 down for Latos so far. Pierre strike out, Polanco ground out to Phillips, Stanton strike out, Mahoney ground out to Phillips, Ruggiano strike out.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
He wants his bat back. I'd pass it forward personally.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Brantly K's swinging on a nasty 3-2 breaking ball. 6 up, 6 down, 4 K's for Latos. 1-0 Reds after 1 1/2.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
KKKK
Latos looking VERY sharp. Reds starters sure seem to be racking up the punchouts lately.

Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Lots of people seem concerned about Joey's lack of hits...me, I'm surprised there's not more shock about Bruce's 0 dingers up to now.
Lead off walk, Frazier with a single up the middle. 2 on, 0 out for Hi-C
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Nice swing by Heisey. Looked like extra bases off the bat. Just foul. Pounded though.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Fly out to left. another solid shot, but just got under it.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
2 good swings from Heisey. Just missed extra bases on both of them
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Darn. DP off the hands from Hanny. 1-0 Reds
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Heisey and Hanigan are rally killers at the bottom of the order. Hanigan is just awful. He grounds weakly into a double play on a 3-1 count. May have been ball 4.

Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Cards down 5-1 in the 2nd to the Phils.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
On an up note, Latos has no no stuff on the mound tonight.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
hanigan is definitely in a rut....
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
I can't stand even watching Hanigan hit.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Actually I thought Hanny was swinging a nice bat his last few games. Just hitting them where they were is all. Solid contact quite often. Up until that jam shot off the knuckles there in that ab it was a solid one too. Good pitch.

Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Single up the middle. Who said something about a "no-no". Shame on you Mem!

It was me. And I said he has no no stuff. Am I not allowed to note that his stuff looks good? I wasn't predicting a no hitter.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Liner to left. First 2 on base.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Latos has crap stuff on the mound tonight. Dusty should probably go get him.
-
Re: 4/19 Miami vs the Reds
Latos look unhittable the first two innings, then comes out and gives up singles to Nick Green and Donovan Solano. Geez.
