Re: What sites do you visit most besides Redszone?
You know what I find interesting:
In the 20 or so post with their most visiting websites listed, there is exactly (1) mention of a regional paper, and that mention was for the mug shot page of the Dayton Daily news specifically, which tells me its more for amusement than entertainment. No Cinci.com, no portland.com (or whatever the equivalent web page for your regional newspaper is), etc...
I think we all knew this, but it couldn't be clearer. We are increasingly getting more and more of our news from non traditional pages. We're all reds fans, yet how many of us read the dailey column on DDN.com or enquirer.com? We can watch just about every game in real time, we can talk about it in real time thru redszone.com or twitter. We can talk about it 2 hours after the game has been completed. By the time the news paper article comes out, its old news. But further than that, we're apparently not going there for our regional news either. Ever since the DDN went to a pay to read format, I've visited that site less and less (despite there being the occasional free article or blog).
I think its clear, the pay to read format, at least for smaller regional papers isn't a long term solution.

Call me old school, but I actually get the old fashion newspaper delivered to my house every morning. And I'm only 30. It might be because my parents have always had the DDN delivered every morning and I love eating some breakfast and reading the paper. I could get my info from online news companies, but I love the feeling of a newspaper in my hands. I do wish the DDN would keep doing the Mr.Red smiley or sad face on the cover when they win or lose, but even without it I still enjoy the paper.
I know I am the exception rather than the rule. And yes the DDN online mugshots is fun too. It's always a little alarming when you see people you know on the mugshot page. It's interesting seeing what people get arrested for and at what time of the day it occured.

EW is great and probably the best source for Buckeye news. I visit it a lot as well but I love message board chatter so I prefer Bucknuts.

Ok, that makes sense. But you might want to edit out that site since it the link is contrary to the "family" theme this site tries to maintain.
