Berkman is supposed to be activated tomorrow.
As someone who knows nothing about his injury (even what it is), do you think he's totally ready to come back, or do you think they're maybe rushing him back a bit to play him against us?Quote:

MLB Extra Innings is doing their free preview now.
At least Frazier is starting over Rolen. Glad baseball is back. That was a long layoff.
If they want to bench Craig to put in a rusty Berkman that would be fine with me.
Or better yet, if they want to move Beltran to CF, Craig to RF and Berkman to 1B, they'll get an increase of offense (to the extent a rusty Berkman is better than Jay), but a big decrease in defense at 1B, RF and CF.

I don't think they're rushing him back because his injury wasn't as bad as originally expected. However I think he should have had a AAA stint. Still, he's veteran enough to give the Cardinals a competitive at bat and I expect him to get a day off every other day.
Furcal pops up to short.
Jay strikes out looking.
Jay started the ol bat toss like he drew the walk...no dice.
birds chillin in the infield
Holliday K's.
1-2-3 for Latos.
