So is he a headcase like Cueto?

It's his 2nd start since being called up up. You can see his K rate is falling after 9 innings?
He doesn't think anybody should ever advance through the Reds system....they should never be challenged.
Not ever.

Jay Bruce with a 1 out double.
Stud.
Re: 8/7/07 Minors Updates: Cueto Pitching
I think Votto will be a .500+ SLG guy in the majors someday, but if not it still wouldn't bother me a bit if he turned out to be a right handed Kevin Youkilis.

Possibly, but I understand where Joey is coming from. The poor behavior by the Reds FO channels down to the field.
Johnny's was inherited:)

Votto's a lefty.....but I know what you meant. :)
Doesn't Votto strike out more then Youk though?
Re: 8/7/07 Minors Updates: Cueto Pitching
Man, I wish I was at the Louisville game. It looks great.
Side question here. How many pitches do managers generally allow these guys to go? It's probably different for everybody, but as a rule do AAA pitchers get limited to 90 or less?
Re: 8/7/07 Minors Updates: Cueto Pitching
Brain fart. I meant if Votto turned out to be a LH Youkilis. With Bruce, Hamilton, possibly Dunn, EdE, and Phillips, the Reds could afford a .475 slugging from Votto as long as he continues to get on base around .400. But I'm on record as thinking he will be a .500+ SLG guy who hits 25 homers and 35-40 doubles.
Re: 8/7/07 Minors Updates: Cueto Pitching
All those baserunners finally caught up to Cueto.
2 run homer
