The problem with that is, he can't take his lumps with his stature and durability. The key in drafting Lincecum is getting a few good years out of him before he implodes. If he struggles in the majors, that is lost time. It has cost the Giants games.

Not being built like Harang isn't an automatic death sentence. Ask that guy in Texas who's like 19-1 against the Reds in his career.

Of course. This guy has a (hopefully) long career ahead of him. Look at Brett Myers and Jeremy Bonderman when they first reached the majors versus where they are now.

So what does everyone think? Are these just growing pains with Lincecum or does anybody think that maybe he won't be able to cut it against major league hitting. Granted he's still very young, but he looks pretty lost out there in these last 4-5 outings.
