Ohhh Goodness... Not again: Joe Mays
Quote:
Joe Mays exercised the escape clause in his Triple-A Las Vegas contract and is now a free agent.
The Dodgers have Hong-Chih Kuo and Chad Billingsley ready to join the rotation and both are better options than Mays. He should get a chance with another team, but his 1-2 record and 5.16 ERA at Triple-A Las Vegas this season isn't going to impress anyone.
 It could be a long season.......

If his agent is looking for other teams to sign him, he should tell them, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." ;)

Maybe he can join the Long Island Ducks with Danny Graves, John Riedling, and Pete Rose, Jr.
:D

You gotta like a guy that has the guts to declare free agency after getting pounded in AAA.

Geez. Danny Graves and Joe Mays on the Long Island team at the same time? They will have to change their name to the Long Island Chuck and Ducks. :)
BTW, is the Long Island Ducks team motto: Come score a LID???
