Anyone have his numbers since he went to the bullpen? I think he may be averaging 2 K/inning as a reliever.

I hadn't seen that blow up he had a couple games ago. I think he could help the Reds next season if he keeps adjusting to the bullpen role.
Re: Saturday 5-12 minor league updates
Chattanooga lost 10-3
Janish: 2 for 2 with a single, double and 3 walks
Re: Saturday 5-12 minor league updates
Wow, Rick Sweet must be a jackass. Great decision to bring your stud pitching prospect out there for the 6th inning when he has already thrown 100 pitches. Not that I want to see the guy lose his job or anything but he should be docked a day's pay due to that stunt.
Re: Saturday 5-12 minor league updates
FWIW, I got to see Dayton in Ft. Wayne yesterday (Saturday)(it's about half an hour from me). Not a very exciting game, and it was less than two hours long. A real pitchers duel, total of 6 or 7 hits, and just one run, coming in the bottom of the first. Stubbs looked ok, 1-3 with a walk and caught stealing in the first inning. If the radar was at all accurate, Smith was hitting 95 with his fastball most of the afternoon. Didn't notice much wind at all, actually.
