Great news for Children's Hospital!
Anything for the kids is good!
Woo!! lets go burn some couches! :D
One of my sons roommates is a UC CCM major whose sister is in Team Lachey.
We know her pretty well so this was all a big deal around the Tucker household. Fun to watch a show where you recognize someone in it.
Congrats to the folks from the 'nati, and thanks for helping the kids.
One of the girls was a high school classmate of my oldest daughter at McAuley and then my younger daughter told me one of her roommates was in choir at Mason High School with another girl on the show.
I didn't see much of the series, but what I did see, I thought the Cincy group was incredibly tight with their vocals, very crisp and seemed heads above the brief bits I saw of the other groups. That "Flight of the Bumblebees" was astounding. If you haven't seen it, here's a Youtube link.

And here's a link to one of their rehearsals

that was one of the cheesiest shows I've seen in quite some time.
Because of the writers strike, I watched it for a few nights.
I didn't like it, but continued to watch to see if Team Cincy would advance. After all, we saw Lachey in the Tower Mall downtown several weeks ago.
Maybe I'm just a very basic dude, but anytime you get to see Maria Menounous in a dress is a good day.Quote:

I enjoyed the show a lot and I'm so happy for Team Lachey! They were the best overall choir IMO and I'm so happy they won that money for Children's Hospital. I heard that there are plans for them to keep singing and I'd definitely go support them if they held a concert or something to raise more money for the hospital. :)
I'd never even heard of her until this show.
