It bothered me for a while until I found out.
Funny enough Gary Glitter also did this song which was huge in NBA games in the 90s.

I don't like that the Reds are playing that. If I am not mistaken, playing that song gives Gary Glitter royalties (even if very small), and that man deserves not another penny for his past works, ever. With what he's been convicted of...I have no words to finish that thought, at least none that I can type on this site.

Every time I hear that I think "Blah blah, blah blah... blah blah, blah blah" and then there's an awful guitar riff.
We can surely play better music umpteen times a game.
