It's took 4 pitches to whiff which is his longest AB since 5/17/2004

Strikeout means the Reds are down to their last out. They have one on.

Meso RBI and just tripled Hanigan's production for 17 games

I'm not one to suggest lopsided or impossible trades. But even early in the season a team can make a trade for an outfielder who can hit a little.
Maybe Walt didn't try, or didn't find a deal he liked, or underestimated the effect or duration of Ludwick's absence, or was relying on Heisey too much.
But the Reds didn't adequately address LF. Particularly since Heisey, even when healthy, was doing so poorly. And while I hope Heisey does well upon his return, his OPS contributed to that 100 point deficit in LF.
Lutz got a few key hits, but IMO a contending team doesn't have a AA player on the roster. Should have found a way to pick up a hitter.

And that's it. Final score, 11-5.

I've said it before, some people shouldn't watch 162 games. A bunch of them post in the game thread.

So. Will Cueto suddenly end up on the DL again because he gave up a bunch of runs and something is wrong with him health-wise?
Re: 6/21/13 Reds @ D-Backs ("Checking in on some old friends" edition)
It's to see that Baker is at least letting Mez pitch hit some of late.
