Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
Reds:
CF Freel
SS Lopez
1B Aurilia
LF Dunn
RF Kearns
3B Encarnacion
2B Phillips
C Ross
P Arroyo
Cards:
SS Davis Eckstein
2B Aaron Miles
1B Albert Pujols
3B Scott Rolen
RF John Rodriguez
LF Scott Spiezio
C Yadier Molina
CF Skip Schumaker
P Mark Mulder
Narron didn't give us much of a chance today. Arroyo will have to hold them under two runs for the Reds to win this one.
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
Aurilia at #3? Oh lord...

Dunn actually has some decent batting behind him.
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
I kinda like this one:dunno:
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
I actually like this one too. Other than Ross, I think it is about the best thing Narron could put out there today.
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
This is the best we have right now. Our hottest hitters Lopez, Freel, Dunn and Kearns are in. There is no one on the bench today that is doing well.
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
Anyone have the latest on Junior?

#1 - advantage Reds
#2 - advantage Reds
#3 - advantage Cards
#4 - advantage Reds
#5 - advantage Reds
#6 - advantage push (only b/c SS went PH yard yesterday and EE seems to be pressing at the plate)
#7 - advantage Cards
#8 - advantage neither (both are horrible)
#9 - advantage push (I like Arroyo vs. Mulder)
while our bottom of the lineup might struggle, our top of the lineup should put runs on the board early, I'm hoping
more PAs for BP means less for Womack, and I'm all for that!
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
This isn't a bad lineup, but I would have liked to see Phillips 2nd, and Lopez 3rd with Aurilia hitting 7th.
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
Gonna be a long day -- Arroyo needs to shut em down.

ya know in defense of Aurilia the guy doesn't have the early stats to get you all giggly inside but I've seen the guy hit the ball hard pretty much most of the time with little to show for it. Let's all hope all evens out as it usually does.
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
This is fine for me. I've given up on ever seeing a perfect lineup, I guess it just doesn't exsist. Go get em, Arroyo!
Re: Easter Game Thread(Reds vs Cards)
Rich has a lifetime OPS against Mulder of .499 in 29 AB's.
Let's hope that doesn't continue today.
