Oh I was mistaken. I thought it was runs, not earned runs.

I would say our pen is one of the LEAST worked in baseball with 8 complete games. It is 8 right?
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
I'm with Thom here, just get the guy out.
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
Headley reminds me of Parkman from 'Major League 2' with those beady eyes.
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
Alright, tough to put too much blame on jose there, a weak seeing eye single, but struck out the next guy.
Hopefully Marshall and Chapman can close this one out, dont really wanna see logan again.
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
I dread Marshalls slow hanging curve ball in the 8th inning...

thanks....
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
Innings like that happen from time to time. No home runs or walks, just bloop hits that fall. Fortunately, our offense has been up to snuff so far.
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
Also, the key stat: No walks issued by our pitching today. Very important in this park, especially with a lead.
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
wow how have we scored 6 runs with Votto, Phillips and Bruce going 1-12..??
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
That guy made us look stupid.

Yeah, especially after the first inning the Padres found a bunch seeing eye singles and bloopers coupled with the errors, allowed them to score more than usual. No walks deters the damage a good deal.
Re: Reds vs. Padres Saturday 7/7
Dang, that was probably a questionable non-strike call away from being an immaculate inning.
