The Gemma-Tara-Wendy matrix is so annoying. That side storyline lurks in the background of every episode for the last year. Aside from the personal angst that it will eventually cause Jax when he inevitably finds out, no one cares. It does very little to advance the story. If Tara died in a hail of gunfire, it would probably make for a better story, in the weird way this show works.
Completely agree. There is definitely some nepotism going on with Gemma. This storyline is such a waste of time, whenever they show the Gemma/Tara/Wendy scenes I just scroll twitter on my kindle.
I also have a theory regarding Wayne. I think he is going to be killed protecting the children.
I was not expecting Tara to do what she did in last nights episode.
I got behind a couple episdoes and just caught up this weekend. The Tara plot is interesting in that it is very conflicted. Both scenes in the last episode with her and Gemma and then her and Jax were very well done I thought.
The breaking Clay out of jail plot is really stupid. I'm sure there will be some cool scene this week with lots of guns and explosions, but won't make the plot line less dumb.
Its possible that SOA is the best show on TV right now. I have a lot of problems with Walking Dead right now.
Sometimes I like Sons, sometimes not. I disagree that its better than TWD though. TWD is tops right now for me.
TWD Governor episode last night was excellent. Much better than FluPrison.
Sons of anarchy probably had their best episode last night. Kutter teaching both Homeland and Walking Dead on how to do "misdirection" correctly in a drama.
Typical SOA feel good finale. I haven't had a mouth open staring at the screen moment on TV in a while, but that is exactly what happened during the Gemma/Tara scene.
I'm not sure how much I liked this season. I think I would probably rank it 4 or 5 out of 6. Just seemed to jumbled for me.
I have been watching Breaking Bad for the first time during this season of SoA and Breaking Bad is to Sons of Anarchy as Mozart is to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch
