My BOLD Prediction:
Dunn is gone by the All Star break and replaced by Bruce.
The Reds decide they won't pay Jr $4M to walk at the end of the season. When they can't trade Jr they trade Dunn instead.

Don't blame me; I don't vote.
86 wins. I'm voting with my heart, not my head.
Dunn improves from 2007 to 2008.
Burton is in the minors by June 1.
Cueto and Volquez bring life to the franchise, but experience the typical ups and downs of young pitchers. Many forget that they are young and become sour on them.
WayneWalt Inc. deals Votto for relief pitching in June.
AGon is a part timer upon his return.
Coffey is closer to his 2006 form than 2007.
Homer and Bruce spend the majority of the season in AAA.
90 wins. They take over 1st on May 12 and this year they hold off all comers. Phillips is voted the MVP due to his 2nd straight 30-30 year and high rbi numbers. Dunn has a higher OPS however. Harang goes 19-4, leads the NL in innings and K's, is in the top 5 in era and doesn't get a Cy Young vote.
81 and 81...... good for third.
If both teams are perfectly healthy, the Cubs are 9 wins better.
The Reds are firmly in the "if everything breaks right" category though and irregardless we're going to see fun baseball with plenty of reason to watch and the general sense that the Reds time is coming.
Concerns (ignoring the ever present injury threat):
1. the pen
2. rotation #3-5
3. the offense
Reds finish 71-91.
I guess that's not that bold. So for my bold prediction, I'll go ahead and say that Griffey gets traded back to the Mariners this season and at long last gets his first ring.
But that's not really a bold prediction about the Reds, so I'll go ahead and say that in spite of the Reds' struggles Jeff Keppinger will be the Reds' lone All-Star representative (at shortstop) and will in general put together a monster, MVP-caliber year.
I'm hesitant to pick a number. I'm really liking this team, but most everything needs to go right for us to have a chance at a good run. I think we'll stop the losing season streak, but can't decide on a number.
Reds win only 104 games because Dusty rests his regulars in September. Endison Volquez is edged out by the Mets' Santana for starter in the All-Star game and Endison also loses the Cy Young in a close vote. Will post Reds playoff predictions at a later time.
My prediction, Wayne Krivsky is fired by the All-Star break, replaced by Jocketty.
Junior is traded before the deadline, so is Dunn.
