Re: Reds v. Cardinals 8/4/13
I'm telling you, performances like this push Dusty closer and closer to walking the plank. If not now, then the postseason.
This team was supposed to be a Ferrari, but it's turned into a Chevette pretty quickly.

Doesn't matter. If Leake is giving up fly balls and line drives, OF play isn't going to save him. It's going to catch-up with him.

first out of the inning :beerme:

Partch, most likely. We have plenty of bad relievers to choose from!

Partch is already in AAA.
Re: Reds v. Cardinals 8/4/13
Jim Kelch is hoping Lance Lynn gets worn out from "standing around on the bases."
Re: Reds v. Cardinals 8/4/13
Ondrusek was guaranteed gasoline on the fire.

Oh, my fault.

Baker will be here until the season ends, at least. We should fire about 10 players on this team instead.

That's what makes losing this series even more frustrating. Not only did we do it at home, the Cards were without Molina.
So disappointing. Just bad baseball.
Don't be so hard on the Reds. It's not like it's a bunch of .230 hitters are having a HR derby.
Outside of Molina, you have Matt Carpenter, Matt Adams, and Allen Craig that are .300 hitters.... although I do believe that 7 game skid skewed some of their numbers. Matt Holliday, Jon Jay, and David Freese also have potential for decent hits abeit they are having off years.
Reds are facing a tough offense and it's showing right now.
Re: Reds v. Cardinals 8/4/13
This team shows no fire. Do they even care that they're getting embarrassed again by the Cardinals? A Cardinals team without their leader in Molina?
They act like they don't even care. How about some fire boys?! Votto used to show some fire this season. Until he was raked over the coals for dropping some F-bombs. Now he's stoic as possible.
Re: Reds v. Cardinals 8/4/13
Few in-season games bigger than this one, and he brings in Ondrusek to face them instead of bringing in Parra to face Adams a batter earlier.
Can't defend Dusty for a move like that.

Doesn't matter this game.....Choo and Bruce both bobbling balls? C'mon what's that have to do with Leake?
Frazier? Was that Leake's fault?
Leake was not good today....his teammates are jumping on board.

At least they aren't at home in front of a packed house.
