As new information comes to light, old beliefs may be brought into question or even changed. In other words, I am having waffles for breakfast. Justin Freeman please and thank you very much.
Re: Who is Redszone's #43 prospect?
I am almost embarrased to do this, but I am voting for Sean Lucas based upon the one glowing scouting report that was posted here within the last month. Most guys getting votes now are AAAA guys. I will go with a starter with some upside.

Lucas is relieving for Dayton.

Thanks for the info, doug. In fact, it looks like he has always been a reliever. In light of this information, I may change my vote to Justin Freeman. Who is your vote for, doug? I am struggling at the end of this board.

I think Carlos Sanchez will hit pretty well. Enough for first base? That is the question. I imagine he cannot play elsewhere.

I went with Villarreal, though I know it is a wasted vote because his spring simply isn't going to let a lot of people vote for him. That said, I could vote for 10 guys here and feel just fine about it.
Re: Who is Redszone's #43 prospect?
I should have limited it to 10-12 guys. When too many of these lower prospects are on the list it spreads the votes too thinly. Of course, I don't want to leave anyone's pick off. #Lower40ProspectDilemma.

Brodie Greene, major league backup.

Voted Allen but I could easily vote Villareal. His spring, plus mediocre 2012, has cost him but he's still a Triple A starter and at the appropriate age. Has always shown good command of the zone. He's a whole lot closer to the major leagues than a lot of guys we've put higher.

I don't really like him as a starter. I think he could work out of the bullpen though.

Even though Lucas is pitching in relief, I might vote for him if/after Manno gets elected. As you can see, I don't mind bullpenners. Partch, Chacin and Mo Wiley are on my list, as well.
