Bah
Bah
Funny how BP swings at many 1st pitches and then when they throw it down the pipe on him.....after the previous guy walks.....you are shocked when he does not swing.
Then he just gives away the at bat after that.
Navarro grounds out to 1st. Reds lose 3-1.
We'll get 'em tomorrow. Hopefully, Dusty can be back for the game.
How will they score without Arroyo tomorrow?
different day, different game. Go get 'em tomorrow.

I hope they win tomorrow. I love it when they clinch with a win and not simply by the default of the possibility of St.L losing.
Left work right after I saw the Cubs win, and as that was my decision criteria to attend Friday's possible clincher, I blew some jack on a sweet scalped ticket behind our dugout. At least the fifth inning was fun. Go get em tomorrow boys.
So this was a pretty memorable game for me. I got to the park early tonight and watched the Cards lose to the Cubs on the jumbotron, bringing the magic number down to 1. I got a foul ball (my second one, lifetime) off the bat of Xavier Paul, and later my friends and I were on the jumbotron!
So, of course, it seemed the stars were aligning for me, and the Reds were a mortal lock to win tonight as the baseball gods had fated it so. I'm still unsure how Navarro grounded out instead of somehow clubbing a majestic game-tying homer, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Ah well, such is life. It was a fun game and the crowd was awesome -- that place erupted when Arroyo tied it up. Easily the best time I've ever had during a loss.
Anyway, here's a pic of the foul ball:
I'm fine with them losing last night. I want them to clinch it tonight with a win Sat night and a party to match it afterwards. I'd like to see Fountain Sq and Oktoberfest folks celebrating hardy tonight . I'd also like Dusty to be in town but I don't know what's up there
