Re: ABC developing 'Cavemen' TV series
I could also see hilarity ensue were they to run a Hair Salon where they solved mysteries for the people who came in to get their hair cut.

Somehow one of them has to be able to see the future, read minds or generally fall into the category of 'profiler'. Maybe Jennifer Love Hewit could make a few guest appearances to give the show credibility.

In honor of Phil Hartman, one of them should be a lawyer.

True story: I went into my local hardware store to get some keys made wearing my Pavement t-shirt. The old guy working there, obviously oblivious to the slack rock god that is Malkmus, asked me if I worked for the city and noted that they're repaving Powell Blvd right now!

Wait a minute. Is the squirrel still solving crimes for people, or is it just a criminal profiler for the NIS? I can't remember.

I say you make the cavemen members of the idle rich, heirs to a vast stone quarry fortune. Then they can say pompous stuff like "You don't know the history of Brie!" and complain about the British royals being new money.

could they solve mysteries for the people that work at the stone quarry?
I think that'd really make it work.
