Today's Edumacation From Tracy Jones
Maybe I should have went to school instead of being "sick".
1. Lineups don't matter.
2. Moving Griffey out of CF doesn't help the defense "because he gets great jumps."
3. Livingston has better stuff then Arroyo.
4. Griffey should bat wherever he wants in the lineup.

Baseball Smarts
Me when I was 8 > Travy Jones today
Re: Today's Edumacation From Tracy Jones
I guess it could be called pandering the least common denominator.

Hasn't Bill James been saying that for years?
Re: Today's Edumacation From Tracy Jones
I heard this and wondered if Tracy represented the U.S. in the Olympics--Special Olympics?
Re: Today's Edumacation From Tracy Jones
He doesn't know Raisor.
<RZ10 In-joke>
Re: Today's Edumacation From Tracy Jones
In all fairness he's played the game. He sees things you cannot even imagine, and understands concepts that fan's minds cannot understand. On top of that he's highly successful outside of baseball, yet still allows the commoners the chance to talk with him.

I'm glad to hear Mr. Jones is successful outside of baseball. God knows he wasn't when he was in baseball.
Re: Today's Edumacation From Tracy Jones
fwiw, My guess is that the last phrase gives this post away. It's sarcasm.

Tracy annoys me as much as anyone else, but give credit where credit is due. Tracy was a pretty damn solid ballplayer from 1986-1988.
Insult his intellect/knowledge all you want, but don't disrespect his accomplishments on the field. 99.9% of the folks who post on Redszone would love to have had his MLB career.

Good lord, if I didn't hear him say that enough on the radio, now I have to hear it here as well?
