Re: Who is Redszone's #27 prospect?
I went with Gregorius. He has all the tools needed to succeed, and he has had a decent amount of success in his young career. Barnhart, Cisco, Corcino, and Fleury all got consideration, too.
Re: Who is Redszone's #27 prospect?
When did Neftali Soto move from 3B to 1B/C???
Re: Who is Redszone's #27 prospect?
I'm going to be stuborn and stick with Cody Puckett, but Fleury and Didi both get some consideration.

Thanks for doing this camis. I've been busy lately and haven't had as much time to do these.

This past season.

The catching idea supposedly came from Yonder Alonso. The move to first base probably had more to do with his range being expected to decline as his body frame fills out.

No problem. I really appreciate you doing all the work behind it. Feel free to let me know if you ever want a break.

I thought we were going to see big things from Soto, but with the move I think he is screwed. I don't see him passing Mes or Grandal. And with Votto and Alonso, where is the guy going to play???

I understand your thinking, but there's plenty of time for that stuff to work itself out. I'd be very surprised if Grandal were to start the year any higher than A+, and Mesoraco is slated for AAA, which means Soto has plenty of opportunity to catch in AA. If Mesoraco joins the Reds this year, that's even more opportunity for Soto to prove himself. As for 1B, yes--the Reds have Votto and Alonso--but other than Soto, there really isn't anyone else in the pipeline unless you have faith in Danny Dorn, which the Reds apparently do not. Soto will turn 22 this year, and there is plenty of time, relatively speaking, for players to be promoted/traded in order for the Reds to pave a way for him.

I like Fleury here. High walk rate and displayed plenty of power last year.
