Some News for you Lexington Fans...
At the Minor League Winter baseball meetings, the Midwest league is going to propose absorbing two Sally league teams into the Midwest.
The Midwest operates with 6 teams in 1 division and 8 in another. One of the 2 teams they propose moving is Lexington.
If they did move they's be in same Divsion with Dragons so you'd see a fair amount of Dragon games.....

It'll be fun to be the one guy in the stadium rooting against the Legends.

Here, here! I believe Lexington would be the closest Midwest League team to Dayton. ROAD TRIP!

We'd all have to meet up there. The Legends are after all a Houston franchise.... HAVE to root against them. :)
Re: Some News for you Lexington Fans...
The Legends also gave us one Kirk Saarloos. Another good reason to root against them.
Considering my uncle has season tickets, and I pretty much can go whenever I want, I don't think I can cheer too loudly against the home team and expect him to keep giving me tickets.
But deep down, I'll cheer when Brandon Waring destroys the ball.

Ft. Wayne would actually be closer than Lexington, but who exactly wants to visit Ft. Wayne? It's like Dayton, only worse.

I used to live in Ft. Wayne, and . . . well, you're right.

According to Mapquest, Lexington is 134 miles from Dayton whereas Ft. Wayne is 143 miles. Essentially a coin toss.

Sorry... it's closer for me to go to Lexington - since I live in Hamilton. :)
Hamilton to Ft. Wayne = 138 miles
Hamilton to Lexington = 111 miles

No problem... I might be one of the few Dragons fans that live about 45 miles away to the South...
Re: Some News for you Lexington Fans...
I-75 to Lexington or US 27 to Fort Wayne. I've done both, alot. Advantage: Lexington.
