Oh, I agree, it was clearly a strike but blue aint going to give anything that appears close. Hernandez jerked his glove too much for liking in receiving that pitch.

Whoever is calling the game for ESPN said Brandon was the one who dropped the ball.

Wow, the ESPN guy is all over the map. He also said Brandon push the runners hand off the bag, when the runner clearly slid off the bag on his own.

Wasn't pretty, but we'll take it.

Volquez escapes thanks to Phillips knocking a guy's hand off the base after he had beaten the throw on an SB. That was a big out.

It is very frustrating to watch the Reds run out mediocre players when they have guys in AAA who in all likelihood are better. Its not like Cozart would replace a slumping Hanley Ramirez. He would replace either Janish or Renteria.

If they thought Cozart was ready, he'd be playing in Cincy. He's only tapping at the door...not really knocking it down. He'll probably be up before September if he keeps hitting.
