Whose available to pitch tonight? Cingrani? Redmond?
If the season ended today I think it would be a pretty easy decision to keep Leake off the postseason roster.
Alvarez lines out to center. 1-0 Pirates mid 1st.
BP! :jump:
Phillips homers to left!!! Tie game.
Leake who throws a straight 88-90mph fastball and a so-so change-up, He must hit his spots, he has too. If not, it's batting practice like the 1st inning. Glavine and Maddox made hall of fame careers buy living on the outside corner and nasty change-ups. They never threw it over the middle of the plate. They knew their stuff was not good enough.
Stubbs grounds out to short.
Kid was hacking. No way he was getting to 2 strikes. :)
Votto walks
Hopefully Ludwick is heating up again :)
Ludwick lines a single to center. 1st and 2nd.
Bruce strikes out swinging.
the NL player of the week award is like krptonite to Bruce...
