Does he move into Broxton's role with Broxton now as the closer?
I hope not. Marshall and Hoover are both significantly better, so I hope those guys inherit the eighth inning. Ondrusek has posted solid ERAs the last few years, but his peripherals don't match the results. He owned a 6.4 K/9 and 5.1 BB/9 last season. Neither of those numbers are really very good for a relief pitcher.
Also, over the course of the past three seasons, Ordusek's WHIP totals have looked like this:
2010 - 1.18
2011 - 1.35
2012 - 1.50
He isn't really trending in the right direction. I'm hoping he's used mainly as a 6th or 7th inning guy in 2013.
