Another great promotion by the Reds

When the Reds win, you win with discounted tickets!
For every Reds win during the May 24-30 homestand against the Pirates and Astros, we'll take $4 off the price of Field Box tickets for the June 11-13 weekend series against the Royals. That means you could have the chance to purchase these great lower level seats, regularly $34, for as little as $6 per ticket!
Cheer on the Reds this week at Great American Ball Park and you can score with discounted tickets for a great weekend of Reds baseball! It's a win-win for everyone!

That's awesome. Field Box tickets are great seats too. With last night's win, four dollars have already been knocked off to cut the price down to $30. Hopefully the Reds will keep winning and cut the prices down to $6. I'll be in attendance for the Saturday and Sunday games in this series unless something comes up.
Re: Another great promotion by the Reds
They must have hired some new marketing people because this promotion coupled with "Opening Night" and the "Throw back the clock" night have been very creative. Well done.

Where are you sitting on Saturday? Or have you not gotten your tickets yet?
Re: Another great promotion by the Reds
Great way to get a crowd at an otherwise dog series against Kansas City.
Re: Another great promotion by the Reds
Saturday night of that Royals series is Scott Rolen bobblehead night.

The low attendance was disappointing last night....but it's not going to change overnight. Stay close to 1st, play solid baseball, get out in the community....good recipe for renewed interest and fandom.
Bully on the Reds brass, I think these types of promotions are brilliant.
Cast and Co. know what they are doing promotion wise. They know how to treat the fans and know what to do off the field to generate fan interest. They have done everything I have expected off the field in order to take care of the fans. All that is left is on the field.
Re: Another great promotion by the Reds
This is creativity we haven't seen for a long time from the Reds marketing dept
Re: Another great promotion by the Reds
I was all ready planning on going to the Rolen bobblehead night game but if the winning keeps up and the prices keep doing down, I may have to check out another game that weekend too. Making games more affordable for the fans is never a bad thing especially in this economy. :)
Re: Another great promotion by the Reds
14 bucks for these tickets now and it could go down to 10 if the Reds win today.
Re: Another great promotion by the Reds
Getting fannies in the seats against the Astros and thumping them is going to sell seats to a lot of folks for the rest of the year.

That's what we paid for the View Levels with the 4 for $40 promo. I don't know what the Reds take is on concessions, but fannies in the seats adds to revenues streams. And it makes for a more electric atmosphere which gets folks around talking about the club, adding to the desire for fans to come on down. Over 12,000 walk ups the last two days aren't all at $10 tickets (although I don't know how they count walk ups - I bought my 4/40 tickets on Thursday night while at that game. Does that count as a walk up or is it just day of the game buys?).
BTW, I wholeheartedly agree that this promo viz the Royals series is nothing but a winner for the team. Those were going to be hard sells and if it gets the crowds larger, more power to them.
