Arrested Development production underway
I just saw the other day that they've started production on the fourth season of Arrested Development. There will be 10 episodes, available on Netflix, and they'll be used to segue into the Arrested Development movie coming next year for those of you that have missed that news.
I didn't really watch the show when it was on Fox, but I've since fallen in love with the show. I think the writing was its own worst enemy, as the self-replicating humor probably didn't catch on with casual viewers that missed previous episodes.
I'm very excited this is becoming a reality.

I already knew about this, but I decided to open the thread anyway.

True. I meant to say that I had learned of this 'development' on a different message board, but I decided to open this thread anyway. I was hoping I'd learn something new, but it didn't work out that way. However, I'm happy just to keep this topic going.

I'm sorry to have failed you, camisa. I'll do better next time.

I'm happy to hear this. Are all parties involved? I know rumor was at one time that Michael Cera was holding it up.

Yep. All the main characters are locked in. There are rumors that some of the secondary characters will make cameos as well, but no confirmation of that.
I'm hoping to see an appearance by Bob Loblaw and the Bob Loblaw law blog.

If there is a great catering table on-set, Carl Weathers and I will both be there.

So freaky. I'm watching the show right now (the 'Marta Complex' episode), and I just saw that part 5 minutes ago. I'm so pumped for the shows.

Hey, I always know what's going on thanks to my advanced scouting, aka creepily hiding out in the corners unnoticed. You can always tell a Milford man, you know.

If any of you are into podcasts, I'd recommend Marc Maron's interview with Jeffrey Tambor. They don't spend a lot of time on AD, but it's funny.
It's a live episode and Marc brings out Jeffrey and says "How are you?" and with a big smile Jeffrey says "none of your business." He was George Bluth in that moment.

I just wonder if they got the Japanese investors to buy in.
