The Reds are 59-40. Basically, they are beating up on the bad teams and playing even with the good teams...not that there is anything wrong with that.
Here is the breakdown:
Record against losing teams:
30-12

Id imagine that how every team that gets to 95+ wins does it. And we have done well in tough road series. Home field in the playoffs could be huge to tilt that balance a little more towards the reds.
Looking good as of now tied for 1st place in all of the NL
I have a hard time finding anything negative to say about this season so far.
At least this season they're holding their own against good competition when in 2010 they did bad
With 3 terrible teams in the division all 3 of the winning teams will have tons of wins vs bad teams by default.
They will eventually but they haven't yet that's part of why they records are so good. They seen each other 9 times each and the NLc teams play each other less than other divisions since they break it down over 6 teams.
Reds have 9 with the Pirates and 6 with the Cards
Cards have 6 with both
Pirates have 9 with Reds and 6 with Cards
So the 3 contenders are going to play 27-27 against each other over the final 58 games after hurting each other for 27-27 the first 104. So by the top 3 teams playing so often they all will get slowed down playing even or one will take off and one or both will fade like the Mets who have been ran over by the top two in their division in 21 games.
