Sele pitching at Great American is a lot different than Sele pitching in Dodger stadium. A good GM has to know if a pitcher can fit his park. The Dodgers took a calculated risk that Sele could deliver in a pitchers park and he has. Unfortunately we did not have a good GM when we signed Milton.

The Reds problem has been the retreads they pick up haven't won over 15 games 4 times like Sele. The Reds get Wilson and Dave Williams who have never done anything and say "Just wait and see what a great pitcher we picked up." The only thing they wind up being good for is batting practice for the opposing team.Quote:
