Hamilton, representing the Great Lakes District, upends Toms River, N.J. (Mid-Atlantic and Todd Frazier's stomping grounds), by a 16-6 margin. They play next on Monday night at 6 PM. :)
Re: Hamilton wins first game at LLWS.
Although they are a Little League team, in June, the Hamilton team entered a Cal Ripken 12U tournament at my son's home baseball park here in Lexington.
Without a doubt, Morrison is the real deal as a pitcher. He is just the kind of arm that is capable of carrying a team to the WS title.

I actually work up in Hamilton and a guy that used to do sales for us has a son on team: Cole Heflin.
From what I understand he's a pretty good pitcher, and during the 1 AB of his I saw on Sat. he smoked a rocket that, unfortunately, was pretty much right at the LFer. He did end up 2-4 though, notching an RBI double and scoring a run. Keep an eye out for him on Monday night!
