Things are going pretty smooth, I know it's a bit soon however everyone still has a pick so it's the prime time to put the idea out there to go 4 rounds. I don't know how everyone else feels but I'm all for it.
I would like that as well. I will draft all 7 rounds if everyone is interested.
7 rounds sounds good.
Green Bay selects LSU wide receiver Terrance Toliver
3 rounds. It gets to be too much work, after round three.
If you want to go more, I suggest redrafting round one, in a normal year free agency would have occurred, and pro days would have taken place by the end of the month. This year we are left with pro days, and leaked Wonderlics.
My knowledge is only good for 1 more round..... It would be interesting to do another 1st round, especially if you had a rule that you could not draft the same guy you took this time
I'll go for as long as we want. I'll even pick up some other teams if need be.
I think 4 rounds is really at the point where the chances of getting a starter (a player who likely makes a major impact this season) start to drastically diminish. 4 is mock worthy, beyond that I can do but it's not nearly as interesting for the majority.
I think we should keep track of names of those interested and towards the end of the 3rd round make the call.
Just FYI the NFL awarded compensatory picks today and the Panthers received a 3rd (for Julius Peppers) #97 overall (amongst 2 other selections), they were the only club to get a 3rd this year. I will try to remember to add that pick the next time we put up draft order.
Also the Bengals & Browns each got a 7th rounder.
