Man kills his girlfriend because she wouldn't heat up his sandwiches
He threw a microwave on her and then said it was an accident. I wonder what he meant to do?

UNIONTOWN, Pennsylvania (AP) -- A man threw a microwave at his girlfriend, then fatally beat her after she refused to heat up sandwiches, police said.
Walter S. Fordyce, 58, of Uniontown remained jailed without bond Thursday on a charge of criminal homicide. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
Fordyce told police he began arguing with his live-in girlfriend, Mary McCann, 58, early Thursday.
After throwing her to the floor, Fordyce threw a microwave oven onto McCann's chest after she refused to heat up sandwiches for him, he told police.
Fordyce also said he stomped on McCann's chest repeatedly, then banged her head on the floor until she lost consciousness -- but that he also said he didn't mean to kill her, police said.
"It was an accident. I didn't do it on purpose," police quoted Fordyce as saying.
Fordyce ran to a neighbor's house for help but couldn't find anyone there to call 911, police said.
After returning home and checking McCann for a pulse -- and finding none -- he went downstairs and drank a beer before going to another neighbor's home and asking them to call 911, police said.
Autopsy results were not immediately available.

AHMEDABAD, India (Reuters) - A jobless alcoholic burned himself to death after his wife refused to serve him meat for dinner, Indian police said Sunday.
Sixty-year-old Mithailal Ram Sanjivan doused his body with an inflammable liquid and set himself ablaze outside his one-room house in Ahmedabad, the main city of western Gujarat state.
Police said the victim, who had been without a job for years, and his wife, Geeta Sanjivan, 54, had a scuffle over the dinner menu.
The wife refused to cook meat as they could not afford it.
Irritated by this, Sanjivan locked her in the house before setting himself on fire outside.

Good, she's got a pulse. Beer time!

I'm also guessing that his phone didn't have that fancy 11 button.

Could be Giants fans living in PA.

It was probably a Cubs fan. Who else would accidentally throw a microwave on someone?

Yeah he had a hallucination, as we all know Cubs fans are wont to do, and imagined that he was in Wrigley Field having just caught an Adam Dunn bomb. His poor wife is the field, the microwave is the ball, and, unfortunately, we all know what Scrub fans do with opposing team's homerun balls. :(

Maybe his girlfriend tried to tell him that a goat's curse hasn't been the reason the cubs have stunk for the past half century.

I'm thinking that maybe there were other issues involved.
Just a guess though.

Yes, there always is. It's too bad people don't have the sense to seperate when the relationship is obviously dead (as in this case).
Re: Man kills his girlfriend because she wouldn't heat up his sandwiches
My only question, which took the microwave guy more effort, throwing the microwave, or heating his own sandwitch? Too bad he didn't want it baked, I don't think he could have lifted the oven. If it wasn't for those new fangled devices, this situation would have been resolved after he wore himself out by trying to throw the oven.
