I have his new address.
GAC - First I read of your tragedy. I want to offer you my prayers but I think everyone else covered it.
The amazing thing I see coming from you is your fortified faith in Christ. What a sight to behold. Many point to events like this and say "Why me God?" or "How does a loving God do this to good people?" but your response to this has been exactly as it should be if your faith in God is strong.
Excuse me for getting all religious but I think its an important component in making it through this hard trial.
I have had minimal trials in my life and cant possibly relate to yours (knock on wood) but if I was to EVER suffer such an experience, I want to have HALF the spiritual maturity you have shown to us here on RZ.
This particular prayer seems appropriate for situations such as this:
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
Bless you and your family....
I think its stupid that schools cant make an acception for kids to attend their own school when temporarily living outside the district for reasons out of their control... stupid public schools.Quote:

As far as feeling guilt for the outpouring of assistance that has come your way...If this had happened to anyone else here, you know you'd be at the head of the line to assist them. Enjoy the love you've sown, it's just returning to you fully grown.
Keep your chin up and know your real treasures escaped the fire. ;)
