Agreed, but it is a legitimate question. Not b/c it is the Reds, but b/c they might have $2.5 mil penciled in for the 1st round and Loo's bonus has to come from somewhere. It would be a logical move, and they would have to decide if Loo is worth it.Quote:

I hope the Reds make Loo a fair 2nd round offer -something in the $600,000 - $700,000 range. Our farm system is very thin on infield prospects (Janish and Bergolla are the best talents for those positions we possess) - so Loo could help immediately.
i agree, BUT, the new guys have repeatedly said they will spend the money in the drafts to get our team back to where it should be. so i dont see this being problem. also look at it this way.Quote:

The deadline was 48 hours after Loo's game ended last night. It would be some time shortly after Midnight Tuesday. I think we have about 25 hours left.
Loo has signed for $220,000. This is great news.
