Re: 4/20 Miami vs the Reds
That was an elite win.
Sorry, couldn't resist. :O)
Re: 4/20 Miami vs the Reds
Almost the exact same hit as Izturis lol.
Great job BP. Such a happy guy too.
Re: 4/20 Miami vs the Reds
Votto and Choo are now ranked #1 and #2 in all of baseball in OBP.

With no outs and a runner on second, and 1 run needed, it's usuasl to bunt with a poor hitter up there.
Getting that runner to third won us the game.
Re: 4/20 Miami vs the Reds
The Marlins rolled the dice thinking BP would hit into a double play, which is a good play. Brandon hasn't done a lot of that so far this year though.

I would say Votto would be except he's almost never given the opportunity.

Haven't you heard, slugging is where it's at?

What are you, a five year old? Just show a little respect for the board if you don't feel like "taking orders from me."

It's beyond incredible what Choo has brought to the lead-off spot compared to what was our recent past.

Depending on how bad Cozart's finger is, we could see a lot more of Izturis in the coming days

Seriously, I don't see how they could let him walk at this rate.

not too surprising too us Reds fans living in Northeast Ohio. He was an absolute monster hitting at that spot in Cleveland and top 5 in baseball then and right now might be the best leadoff hitter in baseball
Re: 4/20 Miami vs the Reds
I like what BP just said in the post game interview -- 17 LOB - is embarrassing.

Yep. That should be interesting.
Izturis in the 2-hole?
