Agreed. If you're gonna move Chapman at this point, do it for something more established.

Agreed.
That is also why I don't agree with the folks who are planning on Billy Hamilton being the 2013 Reds savior at leadoff and CF. Billy Hamilton could turn into the second coming of Willie Wilson, but it might take him two or three years to establish himself at that level. If he hits the same 217/280/278 that Wilson did in his rookie year, he would be nothing but a detriment to the 2013 Reds. The Reds are contenders RIGHT NOW. They need to sign/trade for players who ready to contribute in 2013, not players who are going to contribute in 2015.
In defense of Myers, AA struggles included health problems. That said, even tho I believe he is real there is no way to be certain. He falls short of an ARod/KGJr no way he misses sort or even a Harper. I don't trade a known for an unknown. In viz a viz Hamilton/Volquez both had some track record tho EV was more potential than proof but he did have some ML exposure. That was balanced at the time somewhat by Josh's drug history. I still can't fault that deal even tho the Reds sold Josh short per his abstinence and future. Myers has no record. Chappy is at very least a lockdown reliever with star starter potential. Now if KC offered Myers AND Crowe then I'd deal.
I'd like to see some sort of deal worked out for Gordon, who can bat lead-off.
