Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
Total domination to this point.
Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
Alphabet pitcher with 26 pitches through 3. No hitter going. No patience or the guy is Randy Johnson in disguise.

It helps when one pitcher has everything in the zip code called a strike...the other has to be in the middle of the zone. Cubs announcers have mentioned it twice now.
Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
LaHair grounds to Votto. 1 out.
Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
Ian Stewart? We're doomed. HR. 2-0

The Astros rookie hack starter also no-hit the reds the first time through the order. And he wasn't the first. It's becoming expected.
And another HR for the thousands of cubs fans there to celebrate.

He wasn't a rookie (Jordan Lyles that is). He pitched quite a bit last season. I'm not sure why people were thinking it was his first start.
2-8 last year with 15 starts out of 20 games played.
Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
Stubbs grounds to 3rd and Votto walks.

Bruce DP but run scores 2-1 Cubbies.

Dumb move by LaHair, but smart move by Phillips to allow the run to score.

I thought that...Cubbies gave us one there.
