I hope TB loses now to put the spotlight on the worst officials in all of sports.

Why again, do we not have replay for every call other than balls and strikes?
Because old people still run baseball.

Not sure how that would affect NBA refs.

Umpires should be wearing Google Glass with the TBS app.

It's not the umps. it's the Commissioner's office and the (mostly) $-chasing owners who make it all possible. [need emoticon for warm all-over feeling]

I believe how it ended in the glove got him the call. It looked like a definite short hop but then the ball was in the extreme lower palm of the glove...and in there pretty good it appeared, no idea how a short-hopped ball at that bounce trajectory did that....but it did and I'll bet anything that is what fooled him.
Bad call.....but won't matter.

The missed call on the trap was bad, but this home plate ump has called an incredible game. One of the best I've seen in a while.

The strike zone has been near perfect.
The other umps, not so much...

Imagine if Dusty was the Rays OR Rangers manager right now.
Rangers have tried to lay down two bunts this inning.
Maddon leaving Price in.

Washington is a sort of Baker protege. He credits Baker with teaching him how to be a leader in the clubhouse while he was a player.
Price is money. When he enters free agency, he'll cost a ton of it and be worth a ton of it. Wow, what an 8th for him. The coolness. The D (glove toss to get the 2nd out at 1B on the bunt). And the result. No runs.
Will Cueto give us a performance like that tomorrow night? He has the ability to do it. I sure hope he rises to the occasion.
