He certainly. He will get about 5 hours worth of airline food on the way back to Cincinnati.

Hard to argue with that. I was working off the idea that at least 50% of the Reds starting eight suck at hitting.

No Choo, No Mez? They must be getting traded. ;)

They are a mess of being overrated and underrated and overrated and underrated. Kill the Pads!
Re: 7/31/13 Reds v. Padres - break out of this funk edition
I hate to nitpick at the lineup but sitting Mesoraco makes no sense.
1. His slash line against lefties: .345 | .433 | .534 | .967
2. His post All-Star slash line: .318 | .333 | .545 | .878
3. Corky Miller is his replacement.
4. Tomorrow's off day
This team is struggling to score runs. On paper this does not help.
\\Watch Corky go wild today.
Re: 7/31/13 Reds v. Padres - break out of this funk edition
If the Reds released Corky tomorrow, would any team in baseball sign him?
EDIT: Rosenthal reporting St. Louis is after Navarro. I suppose they'd rather have a potentially productive hitter than a mascot. I guess that's why they are such a poorly-run organization.

Homer doesn't like pitching to Mesoraco..

Lots of folks around have been yearning to set Dusty free. And you thought it was hate. :)

I think they'd rather give Dusty a big boot out the door, change the locks, and put barbed wire fences around the complex.
