As a Canes fan, I'm pleased with tonight's outcome (Sorry, Tom), especially given the fact that Cam Ward is sidelined. So far this season, the Hurricanes seem to either win by one goal or they don't win at all.

Caps have reeled off 4 wins in a row. Playing much better (8-3) after a rough start (1-4). #1 PK and PP units in the league too.
Blues and Penguins in a good old good one tonight.
Hawkey!
That is all.
Look at those Blues tonight.
#Blackhawks trade Jimmy Hayes and Dylan Olsen to Panthers for Kris Versteeg and another player. Florida will pay half of Versteeg's salary.
Ouch. Nashville took the Hawks to the woodshed tonight. Hawks looked slow, lethargic, and a step behind on almost everything all night.
I hate when the game is on when I'm at work. Hockey at 3 is certainly odd, even if it is a day after a holiday.
The Bruins beat the Rangers again today. I enjoy victories against New York more than any team. They had an intense rivalry in the late 1960s and 1970s. I will never forget the opening minutes of the 1970 playoffs when the Rangers ganged up and jumped Derek Sanderson. It didn't help. The Bruins still won that round.

Old school hate. I love it.
